What a weekend
Whew... I have finally recovered from last weekend. I gathered with a group of friends (old and new) to participate in the National Film Challenge. This is a weekend project where teams are given a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue at 7pm on Friday night and are tasked with writing, shooting, editing, scoring and everything else included in getting a short 5-8 min film completed and in the mail on Monday for delivery Tuesday.
It was a fantastic time. The info we received on Friday night was as follows
GENRE: Mocumentary
CHARACTER: W. Burns - Ventriloquist
PROP: Monkey - Animate or Inanimate
LINE: "I never knew you felt that way"
I played Willy Burns, the world renowned Ventriloquist who was taken down by scandal while at the top of his game. We are thrilled with how our film came out and hope to have it posted online soon.
Here are a few pictures from the wild and wacky shoot
As always.... Thanks for checking out the site... Feel free to drop me a line in the Contact Section Posted by JD Black
